Download Ballinger Condensed Series Font Family From Signal

Download Ballinger Condensed Series Font Family From Signal Our Ballinger family continues to grow with the addition of 16 new narrow styles. Their shared DNA is visible in the generous counters and x-height, forthright forms, and air of cheery efficiency. And like their wider relatives, they have their roots in 19th Century jobbing faces. While the eight Condensed styles are designed for impact, we took care to balance them for continuous reading, making them ideal for applications where space is at a premium. In contrast, the radically smooshed X-Condensed weights are ideal for movie credits, legal disclaimers, and lists of side effects. Features include semi-oldstyle figures and case-sensitive punctuation and delimiters. Winner of an ICAD Gold Bell. Download Beletria Font Family From Storm

Download Beletria Font Family From Storm The goal of Beletria is to be a contemporary looking book typeface for fast reading (frankly, I was already bored of using of good old Baskerville for the volumes I illustrated recently). I needed an inconspicuous typographic element to combine with my pictures. The development of Beletria family took most of 2018 and resulted in 26 styles of classical proportions at 2 optical sizes. It has a large x-height and lively italics. Naturally the usual array of OpenType features is present. Beletria is perfect for electronic publication as well. Download Kakao Font Family From Superior Type

Download Kakao Font Family From Superior Type Available in three styles, Kakao was influenced by different hand-drawning tools and 1960s street typography. Vojtěch Říha was exploring the craft of hand lettering with pens, markers and brushes. Kakao Script was drawn with a pen marker and refers to casual writing style of its author. The solid marker was used to draw Kakao Cursive, which is less calligraphic and more letterspaced. Kakao Bold, drawn with a wide brush is the most expressive and dominant. The tools and drawing styles also influenced some of the letterforms, for example the lower case 'g'. Kakao Cursive and Kakao Black include two types of alternative lowercases that do not repeat when next to each other. Kakao Script has a variety of alternatives, swash lowercases and two types of uppercase letters. Kakao family received Award of Excellence in the 2015 Communication Arts Typography Annual. Download Tasman Font Family From Re-Type

Download Tasman Font Family From Re-Type Originally published by OurType, Dan Milne’s Tasman has found a new home at Retype. Milne first conceived Tasman as a typeface for newspapers. This influenced the proportions and look of the face considerably: the goal was to keep the personality as warm and playful as possible without losing the credible tone required to deliver all kinds of news. A sturdy, warm type family that is neither mechanical nor fragile. It borrows its name from Abel Janszoon Tasman (1603–1659), a Dutch seafarer, explorer, and merchant who mapped parts of Australia in 1642, including Van Diemen’s Land (now known as Tasmania). Tasman’s primary purpose is an unbiased presentation of information; it strives for neutrality over elegance. Its characters are sturdy and unambiguous, sporting strong serifs, punctuation, and diacritics, as well as generously sized small caps and hybrid figures. Rationalized letterforms give the face

Download Astrup Font Family From Indian Type Foundry

Download Astrup Font Family From Indian Type Foundry Astrup is a rationalist sans serif typeface. Its letterforms feel like the France of the 1950s; they are very orderly, but also a bit spritely. The letters’ apertures are very small, making the counterforms in typeface feel like they are being completely enclosed within their surrounding characters. The Astrup family has six weights that range from Extralight to Bold. The lowercase letters’ ascenders rise up to the exact height of the tops of the capital letters. Each font has two versions for each numeral; the standard numerals are slightly smaller than that capital letters. The other numerals are substituted into all-caps text by the fonts’ case-sensitive OpenType feature. These alternate numerals are the same size as the capital letters. Astrup’s fonts also have a full range of superior and inferior numerals for the better setting of fractions. Many of Astrup’s capital letters seem very
